The FASCS05K is a 5dB high performance fibre optic Single-mode Attenuator with LC connector used in communication systems to reduce optical power launched onto the photo detector. The device is designed to give accurate attenuation over a wide range of wavelengths. The plug type configuration allows to use directly on the ends of the fibre jumpers and to insert directly in to the adapter. The device has SC connector styles with PC or APC finish providing ultra low return loss.
