LT8640SEV-2#PBF is a synchronous step-down regulator features silent switcher architecture designed to minimize EMI emissions while delivering high efficiency at high switching frequencies. Peak current mode control with a 30ns minimum on-time allows high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies. The LT8643S-2 has external compensation to enable current sharing and fast transient response at high switching frequencies. Burst Mode operation enables ultralow standby current consumption, forced continuous mode can control frequency harmonics across the entire output load range, or spread spectrum operation can further reduce EMI emissions. Applications include automotive and industrial supplies, general purpose step-down.

- Output soft-start and tracking, VIN quiescent current in shutdown is 0.75µA typical
- Feedback pin input current is 20nA maximum at (VFB = 1V, TA = 25°C)
- VC source current is 350µA typical at (VFB = 0.77V, VC = 1.25V, TA = 25°C)
- Minimum on-time is 30ns typical at (ILOAD = 1.5A, SYNC = 0V)
- Oscillator frequency is 210KHz typical at (RT = 221K)
- Top power NMOS on-resistance is 66mohm typical at (ISW = 1A, TA = 25°C)
- Spread spectrum modulation frequency is 3MHz typical at (VSYNC = 3.3V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, 24-lead LQFN package
