ADP7158ARDZ-3.3-R7 is a linear regulator that operates from 2.3V to 5.5V and provides up to 2A of output current. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, it provides high power supply rejection and ultralow noise, achieving excellent line and load transient response with only a 10µF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP7158 regulator's typical output noise is 0.9μV rms from 100Hz to 100KHz and 1.7nV/√Hz for noise spectral density from 10KHz to 1MHz. Applications include regulation for noise-sensitive applications such as phase-locked loops (PLLs), voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), PLLs with integrated VCOs, communications infrastructure, backhaul, and microwave links.

- Stable with a 10µF ceramic output capacitor, load current is 2A max at (TA = 25°C)
- Operating supply current is 4mA typ at (ILOAD = 0µA, TA = 25°C)

- Output noise is 1.6µV rms typ at (10Hz to 100KHz, TA = 25°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 70dB typ at (1KHz to 100KHz, VIN = 4V, VOUT = 3.3V, ILOAD = 2A)
- Output voltage initial accuracy is +0.6% max at (ILOAD = 10mA, TA = 25°C)
- Dropout voltage is 120mV typ at (IOUT = 1.2A, VOUT = 3.3V, TA = 25°C)
- Load regulation is 0.3%/A max at (IOUT = 10mA to 2A), 3.3V output voltage
- Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead SOIC-N-EP package
