AD1582WBRTZ-R7 is a low-cost, low-power, low-dropout, precision series mode voltage (bandgap) reference. The versatility of this reference makes it ideal for use in battery-powered 3V or 5V systems where there can be wide variations in supply voltage and a need to minimize power dissipation. The superior accuracy and temperature stability of the AD1582 result from the precise matching and thermal tracking of on-chip components. Patented temperature drift curvature correction design techniques minimize the nonlinearities in the voltage output temperature characteristic. Applications include portable, battery-powered equipment; for example, notebook computers, cellular phones, pagers, PDAs, GPSs, and DMMs, computer workstations; suitable for use with a wide range of video RAMDACs, smart industrial transmitters, PCMCIA cards automotive, hard disk drives 3V/5V, 8-bit/12-bit data converters.

- Output voltage temperature drift is 50ppm/°C maximum at (VIN = 5V)
- Temperature coefficient is 18ppm/°C typical at (-40°C < TA < +125°C)
- Ripple rejection is 80dB minimum at (VIN = 5V ±100mV (f = 120Hz))
- Quiescent current is 70µA maximum at (VIN = 5V)
- Noise voltage is 70µV p-p typical at (0.1Hz to 10Hz, 25°C)
- Turn on settling time to 0.1% is 100µs maximum at (CL = 0.2µF)
- Output voltage hysteresis is 115ppm typical at (VIN = 5V)
- 6mV accuracy, 50ppm/°C initial temperature coefficient
- Industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 3-lead SOT-23 package
