The ED-582 from Brainboxes is an ethernet to 4 Channel RTD input. The device can be controlled over simple ASCII TCP Protocol or ASCII over virtual COM port. Additionally Brainboxes supply a suite of APIs and sample code to communicate with the device using Microsoft .NET framework Visual Basic, C#, C++, Java, Javascript, PHP and more.

- Factory floor process control and automation, integrated DIN rail mount
- Integrate with popular software packages or with on free APIs
- Supports simple ASCII TCP Protocol
- Integral DIN rail clip with earth
- IP20 Non conducting polyamide case with vents
- Serial expansion port with suitable ADAM modules
- Wide range input power: +5V DC to + 30V DC
- Software APIs for Visual Basic, C# and more
- Can be configured and secured from a web browser, installed as a COM Port on a Windows PC to give complete backwards compatibility for legacy applications
- Robust and intelligent 'control side' devices that provide the interface to systems on the 24V factory floor environment, commonly referred to as 'process side'
