Product Overview
NCP731ADN500R2G is an ADJ/FIX LDO regulator. This device is based on a unique combination of features very low noise, low quiescent current, fast transient response, and high input and output voltage ranges. The NCP731 is a CMOS LDO regulator designed for up to 38V input voltage and 150mA output current. Very low noise (8VRMS) makes this device an ideal solution for applications where clean voltage rails are critical for system performance (power operational amplifiers, analogue−to−digital / digital−to−analogue converters, and other precision analogue circuitry). Internal short circuits and over-temperature protections save the device against overload conditions. Typical application includes supply rails for op-amps, ADCs, DACs, and other precision analogue circuitry and audio, post-DC-DC converter regulation and ripple filtering, test, and measurement, industrial instrumentation, metering, battery-powered device.
- Operating input voltage range from 2.7 to 38V, very low noise is 8VRMS (10Hz to 100KHz)
- Output voltage adjustable range from 1.2 to 35V, typical low quiescent current is 48µA
- Typical low shutdown current is 100nA
- Typical low dropout is 290mV at 150mA
- Minimum output voltage accuracy is −0.6% (TJ = +25°C)
