Product Overview
24CW1280T-I/OT is a 128-Kbit I²C compatible serial EEPROM with software write protection. It is optimized for use in consumer and industrial applications, where reliable and dependable non-volatile memory storage is essential. It allows up to eight devices to share a common I²C (two-wire) bus and is capable of operation across a broad voltage. It contains a pair of programmable configuration registers which allow certain device behaviours to be modified. This register is the write protection register and the hardware address register. The write protection register (WPR) controls the valid address ranges of the EEPROM array that can be written. This allows the user to select the write protection behaviour to be configured for software write protection. The hardware address register (HAR) controls the three hardware client address bits.

- More than one million erase/write cycles, data retention: <gt/>200 years, ESD protection: <gt/>4000V
- 5 pin SOT-23 package, industrial operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
