REFXDPS2201170WBPATOBO1 is a highly efficient 170W single-stage hybrid-flyback reference design aimed for 24V and 36V Li-Ion battery packs typically found in chargers for e-bikes or power tools. The evaluation board design incorporates a digital controller, XDP™ XDPS2201, with the multi-mode operation and two 600V CoolMOS™ P7 superjunction MOSFETs (IPA60R280P7S) that combine excellent efficiency and ease of use. Potential applications are battery chargers, light electric vehicles such as e-bikes.
- No PFC, low system cost, wide output voltage range
- Simple transformer design compared to the resonant converter, high efficiency
- 198 to 264VAC, 50 to 60Hz input, 18 to 42V, Iout = 0.4 to 4.0A CC, POUT = 170W output
- Efficiency is <gt/>95% at 230VAC full load
- Independent 5VDC auxiliary supply for external MCU controlling
