Product Overview
The FT2232HQ-R is a dual high speed USB 2.0 to multipurpose UART/FIFO IC in 64 pin QFN package. This FTDI's 5th generation of USB device has capability of being configured in a variety of industry standard serial or parallel interfaces. Entire USB protocol handled on the chip and no USB specific firmware programming is required. Dual multi protocol synchronous serial engine (MPSSE) simplifies synchronous serial protocol (USB to JTAG, I2C, SPI or bit bang) design. Highly integrated design includes 1.8V LDO regulator for VCORE, integrated POR function and on-chip clock multiplier PLL (12MHz to 480MHz).

- USB bulk data transfer mode (512byte packets in high speed mode)
