LT1963ES8#PBF

LT®1963 series is low dropout fast transient response LDO regulator optimized for fast transient response. Its Quiescent current is well controlled, it does not rise in dropout as it does with many other regulators. In addition to fast transient response, the LT1963 regulators have very low output noise which makes them ideal for sensitive RF supply applications. It is stable with output capacitors as low as 10µF. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection. Typical applications are 3.3V to 2.5V logic power supplies.

• Dropout voltage of 0.34V (ILOAD = 1.5A)
• Low noise of 40µVRMS (COUT = 10µF, ILOAD = 1.5A, BW = 10Hz to 100KHz)
• No protection diodes needed, controlled quiescent current in dropout
• Adjustable output voltage from 1.192 to 1.228V (VIN = 2.21V, ILOAD = 1mA)
• No reverse current, reverse battery protection
• Thermal limiting
• 8-lead plastic SO narrow package
• Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
