Product Information
Product Overview
AD7237A is a dual channel, voltage output digital-to-analogue converter port. It has output amplifier and zener voltage reference on a monolithic CMOS chip. No external user trims are required to achieve full specified performance. It has a double buffered interface structure and an 8-bit wide data bus with data loaded to the respective input latch in two write operations. An asynchronous LDAC signal on the converter updates the DAC latches and analogue outputs. It is fabricated in linear compatible CMOS (LC²MOS), an advanced, mixed technology process that combines precision bipolar circuits with low power CMOS logic. A REF OUT/REF IN function is provided which allows either on-chip 5V reference or an external reference to be used as a reference voltage for the part.
- Reference output voltage is 4.97V to 5.03V
- Faster interface is –30ns typ data setup time
- (8+4) loading structure
- Single or dual supply operation
- Low power—165mW typ in single supply
- Input current is ±5µA max
- Voltage output settling time is 10µA max
- Operating voltage range is 15V
- Operating temperature range is –40°C to +85°C
- Relative accuracy is ±1LSB max, packaging style is small outline (SOIC)
